The Anointed Calendar is the official Calendar System devised by the Anointed Kingdoms for keeping track of the passage of Days in Althas.

Explanation

Seasons of the Year

Maelan Noralar Old Maelan Explanation
Sowing Shovain Saewet Begins during the middle of the cold season, through to its end, and into the season of regrowth. The time to sow the crops to prepare for the Reaping season.
Reaping Seähain Geríp Takes place during the hottest time of the season. The time to reap the crops and prepare for the Fallowing season.
Fallowing Vrallofain Fealh Begins near the End of the Year and moves into the beginning of the New Year. Begins with the falling of leaves until the middle of the cold season. The cold season means the Farm Fields fallow (become barren) and Men must live off of what they reaped the previous season.

The Kalend is the first of the month.

Nones

The Nones is the sixth day of the month.

The Ides is the middle (fifteenth day) of the month.
