They possess the special gift of long life, and were given the divine edict to protect their newfound kingdoms by [[Lore:Diasair#Losdejim|Losdejim]]. Their family lines also possess this same gift and expected to follow Losdejim's edict.

In 305 MA, [[Lore:Driomi|The One]] decrees that Losdejim call forth seven men, one from each of the Seven Tribes that proceeded [[Lore:The Dominion|The Dominion]]: [[Lore:Kings and Queens of Anorthile#Andorain|Andorain]] of [[Lore:Anorthile (region)|Anorthile]], [[Lore:Kings and Queens of Driesefair#Thanglor|Thanglor]] of [[Lore:Driesefair (region)|Driesefair]], [[Lore:Kings and Queens of Gorandel#Endoran|Endoran]] of [[Lore:Gorandel (region)|Gorandel]], [[Lore:Kings and Queens of Lamniemalos#Barador|Barador]] of [[Lore:Lamniemalos (region)|Lamniemalos]], [[Lore:Kings and Queens of Narthendar#Methandos|Methandos]] of [[Lore:Narthendar (region)|Narthendar]], [[Lore:Kings and Queens of Nosmalos#Imbalin|Imbalin]] of [[Lore:Nosmalos (region)|Nosmalos]], and [[Lore:Kings and Queens of Vishethas#Valadin|Valadin]] of [[Lore:Vishethas (region)|Vishethas]]. These seven men become the first Kings of Althas.
