The Anointed are the 7 royal lines ordained by Losdejim in Althas.
They possess the special gift of long life, and were given the divine edict to protect their newfound kingdoms by Losdejim. Their family lines also possess this same gift and expected to follow Losdejim's edict.
Origins
In 305 MA, The One decrees that Losdejim call forth seven men, one from each of the Seven Tribes that proceeded The Dominion: Andorain of Anorthile, Thanglor of Driesefair, Endoran of Gorandel, Barador of Lamniemalos, Methandos of Narthendar, Imbalin of Nosmalos, and Valadin of Vishethas. These seven men become the first Kings of Althas.
