Althas is one of the two main continents of Jevreth. The islands and archipelagos that can be found to the North, East, West, and South of the mainland are also considered to be part of the continent.
Althas means "Altar" in Noralar.
History
The name "Althas" has its earliest origins in one of the first true sermons of the Diasairos. It was early in the history of the Kingdoms that many people began to criticize those who did not make pilgrimages and prayers at the seven "holy" places (the places where each of the seven people originated from). The Diasair rebuked them:

Off of the mainland continent are two large islands (which are considered regions as well due to their size):
Also located off the mainland continent are four archipelago chains:
