Arísan is the capital city of the Thenodar kingdom.

Arísan means "rise up, rise again" in Old Maelan. The city was first known as Esomjathi ("Irongate" in Noralar), then was renamed to Mundríce ("Guardian Realm" in Old Maelan), then to Vaseb ("Ward" in Noralar), and now to its current name.
