The Nesar Theni is a tool created by The Vanguard that contains the power to look into the past.
Nesar Theni means "Mirror of Time" in Noralar.
History
With the Jevrethor now working freely alongside The Vanguard and in Gorandel, great advances are able to be made in Magic.
In 822 MA, the Nesar Theni, and the Nesar Key, are created by the Master of the Vanguard in the mountains outside of Nandorthel of Gorandel. The tool's primary purpose is to look into the past in order to study history.
In 879 MA, the Nesar Theni Chamber Key is sent to an Anorthile outpost and the Nesar Key is sent to a Driesefair outpost.

Security
Because of the vast knowledge that the Nesar Theni can give, it is soon decided that it must be well protected. The Nesar Theni is protected under a double layer of protection: A key is required to unlock the chamber that it's within, and a key is required to active the Nesar Theni itself.
Nesar Theni Chamber
A special chamber is built within The Vanguard Tower for the Nesar Theni to reside, as well as a single Chamber Key that can lock and unlock the Chamber door. When the chamber is not in use, the Chamber Key is kept in an Anorthile outpost.
Nesar Key
A special key is created that activates and deactivates the Nesar Theni. When the Nesar Theni is not in use, the Nesar Key is sent to a Driesefair outpost.
The Nesar in Nesar Key means "Mirror" in Noralar.
