Lore:Chosen

The Chosen are Men given great gifts by Driomi's direct decree. They are given these gifts to aid the people of Lore:Jevreth.

They are distinct from the Anointed in the variety of gifts they receive and by the fact that their gifts are not passed down or inherited.

Gifts

These gifts can vary widely in scope:

• The gift of magical-potential (as Najiros have)
• Great Strength
• The charisma for great leadership
• More.

Chosen can have more then one of these gifts.

History

After the devastation of the Second War: in 465 MA, the Diasair known as Losjefi was tasked by Driomi to appoint the first seven Chosen. They were noble men, one from each of the seven Anointed kingdoms. They took vows of chastity (to which each stayed true to) when they were given these gifts.

Chosen are people that have the potential to use Magic. All Chosen have various levels of magical-potential. A Chosen must first understand their dormant powers before they can use them upon their choosing.

To be Chosen, similar to Anointed, meant that their heirs would also receive Chosen status as well (with latent power to lesser, or greater, extents).

Those who actively practice Magic are called Najiros. Those with unusually high levels of latent Magic are called Jevrethor.

History

The first Chosen were a group of seven Men appointed by Driomi to be an aid to the people of Jevreth in times of trouble. The Chosen were given special abilities (Magic) to further their specific purpose. They were noble men, one from each of the seven Anointed kingdoms who took vows of chastity (to which each stayed true to).
