Delavresi is a dangerous black powder originally created to fight off the rising jevrethor and najiros threat in the late Mythical Age.
Delavresi means “blasting fire” in Noralar.
History
After years of experimentation by Gorandel najiros and alchemists, Delavresi is first created in the Gorandel Academy in 1052 MA. During this time, Téafor’s anti-mathusal message spread amongst many jevrethor and also other najiros. It's primary purpose was to give mathusalos a weapon to fight agains the jevrethor and najiros.
However, after witnessing its incredible destructive power, they decide it should not be produced further and order the recipe for its creation to be sealed away. This does not bother Téafor’s agents in the Academy; they discretely copy the recipe and give it amongst Téafor followers. Téafor then orders that delavresi be produced in as high of quantities as possible.
