The Kings and Queens of Narthendar is a list of the various Anointed, and non-Anointed, leaders of Narthendar.

Line of Kings and Queens

This is a listing of the documented Kings and Queens of Narthendar, the length of their reign, and their accomplishments in Althas's history:

Name Reigned Accomplishments
1. King Methandos (Celestial language, meaning unknown)
 305-399 MA
  • 305 MA: Under the direction of Diasair Losdejim, he founded (and is Anointed as the first King of) the Narthendar Kingdom.
  • 399 MA: As Nomshethairos descend upon the Narthendar kingdom, Methandos attempts to rally his people out of the heartland. Unfortunately he is killed by one of the monsters, which sets off the First War.
2. King Thrandole (Celestial language, meaning unknown)
 399-??? MA
  • 399 MA: After Methandos's death, Thrandole (his son) is made King. He calls for the other six Anointed kingdoms to come to Narthendar's aid. As the other kingdoms do come, Thrandole leads the charge against the Nomshethairos.
  • 402 MA: At the end of the First War, after all the Nomshethairos and Night Stones that could be found throughout Althas are destroyed, Thrandole chooses to keep one Night Stone for himself. He helps in the restoration of the Narthendar kingdom.
  • 420-435 MA: Along the ridge of Voshellas, Thrandole orders the construction of a new capital for Narthendar: the fortress city of Thovairozil and the hall beneath named Zalothairar.
  • 445 MA: Thrandole's Night Stone has fully corrupted him. He uses it’s power to enslave his people and launches a sudden attack against Driesefair and Lamniemalos. His forces are eventually pushed back. The other six Anointed kingdoms begin their counterattack, which begins the Second War.
  • 447 MA: Thrandole prepares his forces deep in Zalothairar. He loses The Siege of Thovairozil, but is able to hold off the forces of the other six kingdoms in the Battle of the Abyss.
  • 458 MA, Battle of the Terrible Night: ... [WIP]
