Chosen are people that have the potential to use Magic. All Chosen have various levels of magical-potential. A Chosen must first understand their dormant powers before they can use them upon their choosing.
To be Chosen, similar to Anointed, meant that their heirs would also receive Chosen status as well (with latent power to lesser, or greater, extents).
Those who actively practice Magic are called Najiros. Those with unusually high levels of latent Magic are called Jevrethor.
The first Chosen were a group of seven Men appointed by Driomi to be an aid to the people of Jevreth in times of trouble. The Chosen were given special abilities (Magic) to further their specific purpose. They were noble men, one from each of the seven Anointed kingdoms who took vows of chastity.
