The Vithile Confederation is an alliance between the cities of Haefan and Vrathiro in the Vithile region.

History

The groundwork for the Vithile Confederation are as follows:

Each city has a King who functions with great autonomy: each King makes the majority of the decisions for his kingdom, including decisions of laws, relations, and trade.
In matters of great regional or international importance will be decided by a vote. Each King has a vote, and a Regent acts as the deciding vote in a stalemate.
The Regent will come from within the two kingdoms, but not from either capital city (Vrathiro or Haefen). The two kingdoms will take turns providing the Regent. The Regent is chosen by the rulers of the various villages and towns.
The two kingdoms vow to come to each other’s aid in any war, whether the kingdom in danger is the aggressor or defender.
