Lore:Nosmalos (faction)
Anorthile is an Anointed kingdom set in the region of the same name. It is home to the Anorthi and is one of three remaining Anointed kingdoms in Althas's history.
Nosmalos is a name derived from Noralar, which roughly translates to "Walls of Morning."

Culture
As an Anointed kingdom, Some might say that they are corrupted and have fallen away from the original goals set for them from the first Diasair. Nosmalos's focus has become about money and success. The society is heavily striated. There are the extremely wealthy, the nobles and merchant nobles. This would be the top 10-15% of the population. Then there are the middle class merchants and laborers trying to climb the ladder. This would be the middle 30-35%. Then you have the poor who are absolutely destitute, the remaining 50-60%. The top 50% is what has maintained stability, the opulance and opportunity that is promised there.
Merchant nobles and the like have a major pull in government, judges are mostly corrupt, their Temple is now gone, the Academy corrupt, and the Vasomi are outlawed on trumpted up, false charges of insurrection. Women are treated worse here than in any of the other four kingdoms.
