Noralar is a language created by the Men of Jevreth.

The meaning for the word Noralar is unknown, as it comes from the now extinct Celestial language.

History

In 325 MA, The Man-made Noralar language and writing system was created with the aid of the first Diasair-voseb.

In 345 MA, four of the seven Anointed kingdoms (Driesefair, Lamniemalos, Nosmalos, and Vishethas) abandon their kingdom's Celestial names, which they now considered to be "meaningless." This creates what is called the Controversy of Tongues, where tension arises between the Kingdoms that keep their original Celestial names and those that take Noralar ones. This is resolved after the Diasair-voseb of that time scolds the Kingdoms holding on to their Celestial names as being prideful.
